IN-HOME CLASS FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
I’m not sure about safety, are you background checked?
In order to work for cities and in schools, I have to be thoroughly background checked. However, for your convenience, I have registered with Trustline. TrustLine is a database of nannies and baby-sitters that have cleared criminal background checks in California. It’s the only authorized screening program of in-home caregivers in the state with access to fingerprint records at the California Department of Justice and the FBI. Upon hire I will provide you with the information to verify, through Trustline, that my background and Department of Justice fingerprint check is clear.
So how does this in-home thing work?
For an in home package, you need to have a minimum of 3 children who are going to take the class. The host, person providing the location, will pay the host fee and all other families will pay the general fee for the package selected. You may also sign up for private and semi-private classes.
Within 24 hours of your purchase, you will receive an email requesting information such as your preferred days, times, etc. Once the class is set, you will receive an email confirmation. On the day(s) of the class, Musically Trained will come to you with everything needed for the class.
How much space is needed to hold a class? Can it be done in the backyard?
The space needed depends on the number of children you are hosting in the class. The package minimum is 3 children & our maximum is 10. Children will need space to move around for movement games & dance. The class can be done outside. However, we do use an outlet for instruments in some classes. Also, keep in mind the class may get loud as we explore musical terms such as forte (loud) and crescendo (gradually getting louder) etc.
What is the best package deal?
The more classes you purchase, the less the price per class. For this reason, you get the most savings with the 8-pack.
